Ever notice the mail order companies bragging about having over 3,000 different running shoes to choose from? At Running Fit, we offer about 200 models and we are proud of the work we've done to whittle it down. Our buyers look at over 3,000 models and order based on the merits of each.
Fit - Is the heal counter too wide, is the depth of the shoe too deep or shallow, is the arch placed correctly, is the toe box big enough?
Construction - Are the lace eyelets strong enough, is the tongue padded or perhaps too short or too long? Is the upper secure to the outsole? Does the shoe flex in the forefoot?
Price - Is the price in line for the features and benefits offered? What is the actual cushion and stability of a shoe compared to what the manafacturer says? We are often surprised to find rock hard cushion shoes or very soft stability shoes.
Don't be surprised when you find we don't carry a heavily advertised shoe. We may or may not book it based on our findings. We will often drop a shoe based on what you tell us or may suggest shoes our customers have given good reports. Everyone on staff is a runner and personal experience also plays heavy into our choices.
Rest assured, the shoes we choose to sell at Running Fit are there for a reason. Our goal is to get you out and running injury free on shoes you will love. If all goes well we expect you to wear them out and come back for more!
