REVIEW:
I have never won the lottery, but I must be pretty darn lucky. Yesterday I bought a pair of your MICROspikes from my local outfitter (Rock, River and Trail - Rick Henrich, owner) in order to use with my trail running shoes. I first went to his store to get Yak Tax, but he knew that my use is on tough, steep mountain trails and that I would generally abuse them (he knows all my trekking poles are bent). So he recommended your MICROspikes as generally working better and more durable. So I bought the MICROspikes.
I was greeted this morning to a sheet of ice--good enough to skate on the sidewalk (really). The MICROspikes were a Godsend! WOW, these things are fantastic. Once the freezing rain turned to all rain, I headed out to the trails that had 2 inches of slushy snow, remaining ice, slippery rocks, the usual stuff. Actually I believe the MICROspikes would be good on muddy, leaf inundated trails too-they will be tested! With these on your feet it was like having four-wheel drive - "Jeep feet", so to speak.
Anyway. I am happy.
